~starring Mark Lee & Fann Wong~
After last year's Just Follow Law, Jack Neo's back with his new production Ah Long Pte Ltd and the movie is sure to make you laugh and touch your heart following successful movies from the pass such as Liang Po Po, Homerun and I Not Stupid. And the all time favourite co-stars who help enhance the humour part of the movie include Lao Zha Bor and Muthu(the Indian guard in Just Follow Law who always want black & white). Seriously the movie is damn hilarious and before it even being released in the cinemas, i already wrote it in my Must Watch List 2008!

As today was Jason's birthday, we(His gf, Edgar, Yee Piao and me) decided to celebrate with him in Pyramid and headed for a movie(Ah Long Pte Ltd). The whole cinema burst into laughter throughout the movie. After that, we decided to have a group study at Starbucks(okay talking bout my sad story..yeah i studied with them who are all in ACCA and they manage to help me in my preparation for my upcoming Progress Test). I must say i was kinda productive today although i made a move back home first at around 6 to have my dinner and here i am blogging when i'm suppose to study. Should stop here and start studying*sighs* tomorrow got class somemore...zZZ

The election was finally over and as we can see the opposition (i should call them the government actually as i'm in Selangor=P) had won 82 out of the 222 seats in the parliament...The election this year had marked a history in Malaysia as BN faced their greatest defeat (political tsunami as quoted by The Star) since Merdeka (Independence day) although they still had the majority seats. This time round, fresh faces from the opposition had defeated BN contestants which include ministers and well known politicians in many hotspots (even some states) which resulted in resignation of some ministers such as the BN contestant from Sungai Siput...

Dato Seri Samy Vellu(Works Minister, MIC President)

The election results also lead to a former Port Klang assemblyman, Datuk Zakaria Deros dies of HEART ATTACK!!

Also a former Klang municipal councillor, Zakaria hogged headlines last year when he had a run-in with the law for not submitting building plans for a mansion that was described as a virtual “istana” (palace) by his critics.

He was also found to have not paid the assessment for another property for 12 years, while his family was caught operating an illegal satay restaurant on government reserve land.

Due to these controversies, Zakaria gave in to mounting pressure and withdrew from being a municipal councillor.

His mansion has 21 bathrooms and 16 bedrooms, including 11 that are occupied by each of his children, as well as a VIP room, three living rooms, a dining hall and a prayer room.

The house also has a swimming pool, several gazebos, an orchard, a two-hole golf lawn, an office, a storeroom, two rooms for maids as well as a wet kitchen and a dry kitchen. Source: The Star

I think after reading the details on his 'palace' some of you might be thinking how did he make it in life from once a railway gate-keeper to what he is today. I wonder...

Macam-macam lagilah.

UMNO has now become..erm..completely paralysed.

See what Pak Lah has to say to defend himself...

Regarding the statement in RED, i use this as an example to memorise a topic in my Auditing textbook=) This is known as the Agency Theory and is defined as the relationship which arise in any situation where one person (the agent) acts on behalf of another (the principal). In specific,
Principle=Pak Lah
Agent=Khairy
In business terms, the shareholders own the company, but a different group ie, the directors (the agent) manage and control the company on behalf of the shareholders (the principal). Therefore, directors should take actions which benefit the shareholders, not decisions which benefit the directors personally which in this case is what Khairy is doing. Hmm..i'm sure i won't forget this topic even after my Audit exams=)
