EDC starts next week and i'm still chilling with my 1 week holiday...30 days more to FINALS!! Sort of addicted to DOTA recently...went gym once only this week-felt so lazy...All this must come to an end!! Anyway Happy Halloween!!

Synopsis:

In PAK SIU-YAU (LEE SZE KEE, LOUISE)'s eyes, her three daughters are just as perfect as diamonds. She believes that the greatest blessing for a woman is to marry a wealthy man. YAU's first daughter HONG NGA-YIN (SHIU MEI KI, MAGGIE) does not agree with her on her values. Yet when she sees that the man YIN is going out with is KO CHEUNG-SING (LAM, BOWIE), who is very well-off, she decides to let YIN go with her choice. YAU's second daughter HONG NGA-TUNG (LAI CHI, GIGI) is hopelessly romantic but does not seem to have much luck with men. To make it up to her, YAU seeks to match her up with HO CHIT-NAM (CHAN HO, MOSES), the son of Hong Kong's most powerful business tycoon HO FUNG (YUEH HUA). Being the youngest in the family, HONG NGA-SZ (CHOI SIU FUN, ADA) is well aware of YAU's concerns. Having recovered from divorce, SZ now decides to pin all her hopes on FUNG.

Once upon a time...

Far far away in Pearie Land, there was a man who had four sons. He sent them each on a quest, to go in turns, to take a look at a particular pear tree. This pear tree isn't magical, nor is it unique. But it stands out in its own way. A very distinguish way indeed.

He sent the eldest son in the winter.

The second one went in spring.

While the third headed off in summer.

And the youngest son, in fall/autumn.

When the four of them had all gone and came back, he called them together to the meeting room, to describe what they had seen from the quest they were sent on separately.

The first son said, "The tree was ugly, bent, and twisted."

The second son said, "No, it was covered with green buds and full of promise."

The third son disagreed & said, "It was the most graceful thing I've ever seen.
It was laden with blossoms that smelled so sweet and looked so beautiful."

The last son disagreed with all of them while he said,
"It was ripe and drooping with fruit, full of life and fulfillment."

The man then explained to his sons that they were all correct, because they had each seen but only one season in the tree's life. He told them that you cannot judge a tree, or a person, by only one season, and that the essence of who they are and the pleasure, joy, and love that come from that life can only be measured at the end, when all the seasons are up.

If you give up when it's winter, you will miss the promise of your spring,
the beauty of your summer, as well as the fulfillment of your fall.

Don't let the pain of one season destroy the joy of all the rest. Don't judge life by one difficult season. Persevere through the difficult patches, and better times are sure to come some time or later. =)

My new baby(or wife-quote Edmund) arrived last week after a long wait for the number plate, delivery time, etc. It's like a dream come true for me =) My sis however will officially take over the Myvi..It's really a nice ride though- light steering, powerful pick-up, and most of all it's a sedan(my favourite all along) but i have to control myself not to over-rev the car for the 1st 1000km which means not more than 3000rpm...hmm..it will be a hard task for me!! Mock's next week..hopefully the car will motivate me=)

I've just finished watching Mamma Mia, you should really watch it..it's the best musical movie ever(even better than Sweeney Todd) featuring Abba songs. The setting is really beautiful and what makes the movie alive!! How i wish i can go there for a holiday!! Must watch movie!! The island is better than any island in Malaysia...damn!



And speaking bout Pierce Brosnan, he's so handsome and sexy(p/s: i'm not gay)
although he has aged since acting as the famous 007...He's like getting more handsome as he grows old and that same goes to Andy Lau...how i wish i was like that! =P

I started watching Prison Break Season 1(excuse me, now only u watching season 1..quote Yi Wen) since everyone's been talking about how nice the series is...and i know it's already Season 4 but no worries i'm catching up..It's a really nice show though..but like what Mabel said, "you must use your brain to watch," Hmm..well quite true also..you'll understand when you watch it..

Oh yea, my H/P memory card got corrupted and i lost all my photos i took from September till now and that includes the graduation day photos..aihz! Btw anyone who still have my photos in their H/P please don't delete 1st k?

A friendly advice->don't buy 'chong'/pirated memory cards..they look exactly like original memory cards but a lot of my friends experience the memory cards go corrupted after some time..i'm not saying i was cheated cause i bought them very cheap..These memory cards are priced far cheaper than the originals..Conclusion: don't get tempted with something cheap before making research about a product =p
